Club 44-46 Dramatic Club 47 SENIOR HALL OF FAME Charles Morgan and Claudine Wingfield were the out- standing Senior athletes for 1947-48. Both have played first-string varsity basketball for three years. Charles was a member of the 1946-47 district and State class ‘C’ record in the 220 yard-dash. Claudine was a member of the'Red-Devils softball team. For the first half of their Senior year, Betty Koonce and Louise Bourne, have attained the enviable scholastic record of B+. These two girls were tied for this honor. It is well to know that both girls have distinguished them- selves throughout their high school careers for scholast- ic attainment. For their friendliness and willingliness to cooperate, Bud Hardgrove and Shirley Holsey were rated as the Senior boy and girl having the best all around personality. Bud was especially active in athletics while at Iowa. He was also president of the Senior Class. Shirley was a good all around gal and honor student. Pretty curls and small stature are sorrowfully left by Clinton Hebert. That wonderful ability to get along with the freshies and his studious habits are left by Clifton LeBleu. Charles Morgan wishes to leave his undying love for blondes and his ability to recite poetry. The ability to get out of work and his ‘Sissie’ ways are left by Robert Sheffield. Richard Vest leaves his gracious ability of carrying on a conversation and his way with the girls. Her wonderful secretarial position and her boldness-leap year you know-are left by Louise Bourne. Lura Mae Bruney wishes to leave her strong affection for dogs-not horses-and her ability to play baseball. Ruth Corbello leaves her a- bility to play chop-sticks and her love for blondes. That strange power of staying true to one man and her hate for cooking are left by Delsie House. Rena Mae John- son leaves all of her excess pounds and her ability to learn history.
