THIRD ROW: Coach Flower, After the loss of l8 lettermen last season, Coach Flower was confronted with the difficult task of build- ing up a new Cadet Squad. In spite of the inex- perienced material with which Coach Flower had to work, he succeeded in producing a team which never quit fighting until the final whistle had blown. The Cadets showed considerable improvement toward the end of the season. After leading Humbolt, the Con- ference Champs, most of the game, the Cadets lost to them in the last few minutes on a fumble. ln the last game of the season they tied a strong Webster City team. With the return of 20 Iettermen next sea- son the Cadet fans may look forward to a strong team. 26 . vlfiliiygs i,,:l.t.W K MW.. I Y-Stu. I .
