S luden ls Prepare for Agricultural Careers Roger Nuehring tests corn for Weight per bushel. The one-year Elevator and Farm Supply Manage- ment program was designed to provide training for careers in modern agriculture. The program featured five sessions of which three were in the classroom and two were on-the -job training. Under the in- struction of Mr. john Bartlett and Mr. Gary Astor, the trainees spent classroom time studying technical ag- riculture and learning about the marketing, manage- ment, and distributive functions of the Elevator and Farm Supply industry.
