PraeZ1'ealMarkel1'ng Procedures Make Up The two-year Retail Marketing Management program was designed to prepare students for management and mid-management positions in retailing. The students, under the direction of Mr. Gerald Leberman, received classroom instruction and on-the -job training. Class- room instruction included subject matter relevant to a career in retail management, such as introduction to business, retailing, and human relations. Combined with the classroom studies were laboratory sessions housed in a facility with fixtures and equipment that stimulated a retail store. Three on-the-job training sessions provided the students with approximately a thousand clock hours of paid, planned, and supervised retail experience. Stu- dents who successfully completed the course were awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree.
