Expressions were an important part of life at Iowa Central this past year. Each student expressed himself or herself in many ways. Politi- cally-oriented students expressed themselves in peaceful demonstra- tions or counter-demonstrations during the Moratorium. Others ex- pressed themselves in their efforts to make Homecoming at the three Iowa Central centers a success, Music and art students expressed themselves in their own mediums. Vocational-Technical students ex- pressed themselves and their talents by winning state contests and state offices. Athletes expressed and won their goals in many sports events, Members of campus organizations also strived toward the goals they had expressed for themselves, With graduation ceremonies over, students expressed hopes for their futures, both in the careers they would soon be beginning and in their future education. 232
