Gives Cheap Thrills The Cirle K Club of the Fort Dodge Center spon- sored the annual Penny Carnival on the evening of May 12. Other campus clubs organized booths such as the dunking machine, the pie throw, the ring toss, and the water balloon throw. The highlight of the event was the mini-skirt contest at which Car- lene Hanson was named winner and Karry jackson was named runner-up. Ben Pena, a flamencd-style guitarist, played and sang for two of the performances. Kris and Dale and the Three Party System were also featured. The small audience is engrossed in the music. 132

M usic Highlights the Experzmenl The Music Department's contribution to The Ex- periment includes the Delegation, the Chamber Singers, and the stage band. The Experiment, an informal cabaret-type show, was held on November 25. Mehr Shahidi, Master of Cer- emonies, introduced the talent, which included rock bands, singers, the ICCC stage band and Chamber Singers, and comedy skits.
