Flower Chlfdrerz Appear at Saa'1'e Hawkins Doug Krager expresses the mood of the dance. Flower children and hippies danced-in to music provided by The Ecstasy at the annual Sadie Hawkins Dance. The dance, sponsored by the H.O.E. fl-Iealth, Occupation, Edu- cationj girls, featured students dressed in jeans, cut-offs, love beads, and mocassins. Trophies were awarded to Bill Spindler and Deb Pratt for being the best-dressed. H.O.E. girls model appropriate hippie attire. LEFT--Even overalls are in at Sadie Hawkins. Circle K Sponsors Miss Legs Con zest A Miss Legs contest, sponsored by the Circle K Club, was held at the 4-I-I Building on the evening of November 4. Barb Jensen, a freshman majoring in art, was nominated Miss Legs out of 21 competitors, while Diane I-loveland was the runner- up. Following the contest a dance was held, and all the funds collected were given to the United Fund. The large audience gives its full attention to the girls on the stage. The curtain opens on fpart ofj another con- testant. 130

Ben Pena, a flamencd-style guitarist, played and sang for two of the performances. Kris and Dale and the Three Party System were also featured. The small audience is engrossed in the music. 132
