Honor Students Receive Rec0gr11'l1'0n The Honor Society was a statewide organization for which both Arts and Sciences and Voc-Tech students were eligible. Each semester students had the oppor- tunity to qualify. To become a member, a 3.25 grade average for at least one semester was needed, The annual ceremony and reception, at which judge Mark McCormack gave the main address, was held on May 4. Nine permanent members were inducted. Janice Blaine receives the Alice E, Granger Scholar- ship. LEFT--Temporary Honor Society members from the Voc-Tech division wait to be inducted. Spanish Club Continues T0 Grow The purpose of the Spanish Club was to stimulate interest in the culture of Spanish-speaking people. The club held one meeting a month. During the past year the Spanish Club held a Halloween party, a swimming party, a debate on The Grape Pickers, and a dinner at La Fiesta.
