Concert Choir Unwraps Christmas! Left--Mr. McKinley directs . . The Concert Choir opened its season with QM Christmas at Iowa Central. A portion of this performance, which included carols and Vi- vo1di's Gloria in D , was given on KVFD T.V. In Spectrum '69, they presented Mancini and pop tunes to the delight of a large audience. The choir attended a State Community Col- lege Festival in Ottumwa. The most exciting event was a tour of Northeast Iowa in April, in- cluding performances at U.N.I. and at the Vin- ton School for the Blind. Additional appear- ances were made at a home concert, at Bac- Above--Steve DeWitt calaureate services, and at the Fort Dodge Fine Below left--Larry Arts Festival. Eagle Grove's Chamber Choir prepares to take its place at the Evangelical Lutheran Church where the Christmas Concert was presented. Besides caroling at Rotary Ann, the Chamber Choir sang The Star Spangled Banner before the ICCC-EG basketball games. Their Spring Concert was presented at the Congregational Church. ROW 1--J. New ICCC Group Is Born-The Chamber Singers Newly formed this year, the ICCC Chamber Sin- gers is a select group of 16 voices, presenting the finest in sacred and secular chamber music as Well as a variety of popular numbers. The group has made many appearances this year. The most important of the appearances was at the All- State Music Festival in Des Moines before a session of choral directors. In Spectrum '69, they partici- pated with Country and Western tlmes in a swing style. Numerous other appearances were made as goodwill ambassadors from ICCC. Right--Some sing, but Roy Tudor grins at the audience. Below--The Chamber Singers delight an appreciative audience in Spectrum '69.
