Students Practice on Modern M achines The Machine Shop program, which lasts for eleven months, trains its students to operate modern machine tools. Under the instruction of Mr. james Wiggerman, related classroom study and shop work are integrated to provide the ne- cessary training. Courses include measuring fundamentals, shop safety, welding, blueprint reading and drafting, machine electrical funda- mentals, and time, motion, and quality control Students also work on engine lathes, punch pres ses, pedestal drills, and production and vertical milling machines.
