Secretaries Learn Clerical Techniques The nine-month Clerical Receptionist program provided secretarial training to those students without prior office training as well as to those who wished to further their skills. The program was conducted on a lab basis with equipment simulating a real office. Instructed by Mr. Robert Pearson, students spent six hours a day in the program, progressing at their own rate of speed. They studied machine transcription, telephone techniques, clerical record keeping, data processing and business letter writing.
