Each week in the fall at Republican headquarters, the College Young Republicans conducted a telephone poll of Hamilton county, canvassed area towns for State Senator David Stanley and decorated and maintained the downtown headquarters. Also among their chores was the distribution of leaflets and bumper stickers. By getting out the vote the Young Republi- cans made the campaign a big success. I20
