Students Learn Governing Procedures The Area Student Senate is under the sponsorship of Mr. Dean Cramer, Director of Student Services. Each of the campuses in Area V has three representatives which brings the total membership of the group to nine. The Senate serves as ameans of communica- tion among the three campuses. At the meetings much time is spent talking over policies of the in- 7 dividual campuses and trying to find ways to bring the campuses closer together. The representatives also try to plan activities that include all three campuses, giving the students a chance to get to know one another. Its main project this year has been preparing a new student handbook for 1969- 1970. The council members are shown here busily planning the new student handbook to be used during orientation sessions.
