ART'S PLACE was organized as a fun club. The founding idea was to create a lively unacademic club where stu- dents could have fun working on projects. Trips to art museums and ex- hibits were also planned. A trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the University of Minnesota art gallery was enjoyed by the members. Keeping up on modern trends in music, movies and other fine arts is an objective. Students rganize Arfs Place ROW 1: M. Voigt, L. Yingling, D. Nikkei, L. Axon, Mrs. Molly Zak fsponsorj, M. Fisher, J. Emphasis was on the planning, drafting and engineer- ing phases of industry. The class also vis- ited the data processing department of the Commission. To earn money for having the ICCC Eagle Grove Iowa sign painted on the college truck, the engineering graphic class sold sandwiches at noon in the college lounge. Eagle Grove's Maintenance Engi- neer Lyden Umstead is proud of his truck now, and Mr. Durwood Miller's class is pleased to have been able to help.
