To Those Who Follow We, the graduating Senior Class of the Ionia High School, City of lonia, State of Michigan, be- ing of sound mind and body and knowing that ARTICLE I We, the Senior Class, do leave to the whole world the vivid hope that we will not become the wasted generation of mankind. ARTICLE II We, the Senior Class, do leave to the honored faculty the burning hope that they will turn out the leaders of today and tomorrow from the stu- dents of today. ' ARTICLE III We, the Senior Class, do leave our superiority in all class projects and the incomparable task of comprehending American history to the poor un- suspecting Iuniors. To the Sophomores and Freshmen, we leave our undying hope, which they will surely need, that they too can stand upon that exalted pedestal and be acclaimed as seniors of lonia High School. ARTICLE IV I, Max Patrick, do leave my handsome and winning good looks to Dick Rinker, in case he should need them. l, Richard Hawley, do leave my ability to make all women see my good points to any male in distress. l, Bill Barton, do leave my proudest possession to anyone who can keep it intact. I, Bob Bowne, do leave my toes to any other heels who want them. I, Carol Iohnson, do leave my ability for de- manding explanations to Linda I-Iiler. I, Bob McKinley, after many thoughts other- wise, do leave, to the applause of all harassed teachers. I, Dwight Lockwood, do leave my popularity and witty remarks to Hal Bliss, if he should need them. ' I, Duane Durkee, do leave my unknown psy- chology with women to Bob Spencer. I, Bill Fate, do leave my oversized helmet to anyone who can fill it. It should just about fit Ioe McAlary. I, Helen Spaulding, do leave for Belding. I, Marilyn Stoll, do leave my way with men to the girl who uses it for her benefit. I, Honor Will'iams, do leave my gift of gab to anyone who can manage to keep supplied with all the latest rumors. I, George Hamblin, do leave at 2:00 o'clock, when I can manage to elude Mr. Smith. soon others will traverse in our footsteps, do be- queath to those who follow whatever attributes we can claim. I, Barbara Seidelman, do leave my cheerlead- ing appeal to anyone faithful and enthuastic to- ward our teams. I, Lois Peterson, do leave my delightful ride home on the Allen school bus to some hardy character who can stand it. I, Pat Thwaites, do leave my soda to some other jerk. I I, lim Adams, do leave my faithful alarm clock to anyone who wants an excuse for being late as often as I have been. I, Barb Dion, do leave the appeal of a short female to anyone wise enough to use it and who has the expected qualities. We, Bill Weisgerber, Stanley Covert, and Burton Stencel, do leave our dirty farm shoes on the doorstep for anyone who can get them dirtier than we have. I, Bonnie Pierce, do leave the hard work and brains of valedictorian to Connie Hilton, I, Richard Bidstrup, do leave my ability to argue down any teacher to Bill Franch. I, Charles Emmons, do leave my Plymouth to anyone who has more patience than I, I, Carl Graves, do leave my faithfulness to the football team to the football players of tomorrow. I, Shirley LeValley, do leave my leg troubles, I hope. We, Dick Peabody and Bob Iames, do leave our ability for blowing up the lab to anyone who can obtain enough disulfide to blow it up again. We, Don Shattuck and Bob Schild, do leave our long and short act in basketball to Walt Sorenson and Hal Bliss. We, Ierry and Bob White, do leave our brother act in sports to our brother, Donald. I, Ruth Lintner, do leave my private domain on Union Street to any senior girls who desire noon hour recreation and relaxation. We, the Senior Class, do leave our dreams in lonia High School to those who follow.
