In the fall the girls had bake sales. The Yuletide was celebrated by journeying to Spokane on December 27, 1959 and viewing the fabulous Ice Capades. To earn money the girls sold desk sets and candy during the Christmas season. Other activities included going to Nelson, B. C. and having a roller skating party. Three major activities at lone High are the annual staff, newspaper staff, and student council. The prime objective of the annual staff is to edit the Savage Echo , the paper staff publishes a monthly paper, and the student council governs all student body functions.
