J UNIORS Starting the year right, the Juniors ordered their class rings the second day of school. The first activity of the year was a Bake Sale followed by a record dance. To reverse last year's results of the basketball season ticket sale, the class of '61 surprised everyone and won first place this year. Another record dance was given after the second tournament game. The highlight of the junior activities was the Junior Prom. Jack Fields furnished the music to the theme of Twilight Time . SOPHOMORES The Sophomores participated in the age-old tradition of initiating the new Frosh the first week of school. This was followed later in the semester by a record dance. The high point of their year was the Sophomore Hop decorated to the theme of April Love . The Hop was given on April 16 with music by the Cobras. FRESHMEN The Freshmen started their year by giving the Initiation Return Party on the 25th of September. Later on in the spring, they gave a record dance. Like most Freshmen they had few activities.
