WMM The class of U54 has f1ve members who have completed twelve years of school m Ione They are Lo1s Haney, Sh1rley Graham Leo Hughes, Clifford Mltchell, and Davld Wldger Geraldme Carlson Jolned these flve in the second grade ln the thxrd grade Kay Dawson became a member as a result of the Txger schoolhouse closing Lorne Reed Jr became a member UI the 7th grade Havmg tlred of her own class but mostly wanting to graduate ln three years, Colleen Blalr became a member at the begmnmg of the 2nd semester of our .Tumor year Ioan Hudgms, the eleventh and flnal addxtlon to our class, came at the 2nd semester of our Semor year As Freshmen, we were tradztlonally mxtxated and gave the annual return party for the sophomores We gave candy sales and a one act play called Culture' , wlth an all glrl cast As Sophomores, we inxtxated the Freshmen, gave candy sales a few record dances, and two one act plays called The Great Joanne Th Youngest When we became Juniors, we gave dances after games and a few candy sales In the spring of that year we gave an Easter Break fast and gave a fairly successful Jumor Prom As Seniors we gave a Senior Ball ln December We raffled off a cedar chest, gave one or two record dances, sold concessions at games and later in the sprlng agam sponsored an Easter Breakfast Also in the sprmg we sponsored a maglclan show and our mothers gave a rummage and bake sale for us to raise money to go on our trip to Seattle We completed the year by leavmg ln the afternoon of the 13th of May for Seattle We had an interesting, wonderful, and very educational trip We returned on the 16th of May Now as this, our last year draws to a close, we leave the Name Senior and all it means to the class of 55 and we hope they w1ll en1oy it as much as we have ll ' . . 3 cr y - - - l ii and e . . - . l . .
