IOLANI 7-FARRINGTON 13 One of the most thrilling games of the season saw Iolani downed by a strong Farrington ag- gregation. With the game but a few minutes old, the Governors marched 54 yards to pay dirt. How- ever, the determined Iolani team came back in the second quarter to score on a pass, Masa Yona- mine to George Maruyama. The Governors again scored as they marched 84 yards, ending the drive with a touchdown pass. The outstanding player on the field was Masa Yonamine, who shook into the open twice, only to be brought down from behind by some lucky tackles. The Raiders outplayed their opponents, but lacked the scoring punch. This loss virtually eliminated the Crimson Tide from the running for the championship.
