These Four men were charged with keeping the building in top condition and order. The Junior class officers were: President, Jewell Beard, Vice-Presi- dent, Janie Abbott, Secretary, Jerry Bingham, and Treasurer, Leslie Cyrus. They planned and sponsored an as sembly for High school and Juco students. The club promoted better living and service to the school, church, community, and world. Among activities sponsored by the boys this year were: runn- ing a safety campaign, working at the con cessions during football and basketball games, moving the furniture from the old Allen County Courthouse to the new court- house, and donating several books to the school library. The organization S. sw is affiliated with the Kansas Association of Youth and sponsored by Misses Evelyn and Marguerite Hackney. Purposes of the Kayettes while work- ing on their 3000 point award this year were: to provide recreation for its mem- bership, to serve others, and to develop the attributes for social living in a de- mocracy.
