The addition on the north, consisting of the gymnasium, the music room, and the home economics laboratory, was added in 1939. In 1953, the industrial arts shop, the science laboratory, and two grade rooms were added on the south. During the summer of 1962 a football dressing room was erected, and the former study hall was remodeled into a library and one class room. High School Principal In the second year of the re- organization, Mr. Larry Pollock, Principal, had the task of coor- dinating the new, to us, sport of football and declamatory with our many other existing activities. He was assisted in his office chores by Mrs. Thelma Armstrong.

Lundby, in his second year as superintendent of the Interstate 35 Community School, has continued to work around the clock to coordinate the activities of the three units. Faster communication has been achieved by the installation of short wave radio in the three buildings. Mrs. Charlotte Stickel is Mr. Lundby's secretary.

In 1954 an industrial arts shop was built. union: High Principal Mr. Harold Davis is principal of the Junior High in the New Virginia building. Football was add- ed to the curriculum here as well as at the high school. The junior high held another very successful carnival this year, under Mr. Davis' supervision.
