Here we took second honors, wlth the lthaca Band overpowering us. From this victory we received two trophies, the flrst ever won by an Interlaken Band Eleven members of the Band and Glee Club participated ln the Geneva All-State Fas tlval. This year will see the end of many of the members' musical careers.Our cap- able drum major and two bouncing twlrlers will be among those missing, but the prospects of filling these positions at least seem bright. We indeed will miss all of those leaving us and wish them success in whatever they do. Our other big events were the T-Burg Fair, ln which we came out tops in our re- gion and carried off the booty. We also gave an outdoor concert at the Reconstruct- ion Home ln Ithaca. Of course the summer was an eventful one with a parade a week in varlous sections of the county. At the present time we are preparing for our exchange of assemblies with the Bands and Glee Clubs of the Ovid, Romulus and T-Burg schools.
