QIIIOI' UCS l'Opll8Cy After ten years of be1ng away from Inter1or the class of '57 '58 got to gether at the school and had a class reumon We all had a dehghtful t1me and found out many 1nterest1ng thlngs about what each of us had done 1n the past years Beverly lS 1n New York workrng for a large busumess flrm She dldn' l1ve up to her motto of bemg an old mald She came back to South Dakota to marry her h1gh school sweetheart and took h1m back wtth her to New York They now have two chxldren Sharon Burkholder d1dn't get her w1sh to teach school After goxng to college for two years she dec1ded to be a hostess on a large streamllner She encountered many experlences on her voyage Her most wonderful exper1ence was when she went to the romantlc Hawauan Islands where she met up w1th an Amerxcan archaeologlst She gave up her Job and settled down to a l1fe of soc1ety Lloydell H111 who had always had the amb1t1on to be a nurse IS now a nurse 1n the Navy She had always had an eye for the Navy boys so she 1s now en gaged to an admxral who has a prom1s1ng career of someday berng head of all Armed forces Donald Harvey went to buslness college and now owns h1s own chaln of gro cery stores all over the country Hls father s store IS now ln that cham Donald, who marrled a local glrl 1n h1s hometown lS now l1v1ng ln New Mexlco Jlm Lwermont who was always bashful IH school, IS now a sought after r1ch bachelor Hxs bashfulness was Just a false front to keep the glrls from h1m ln hxgh school He 1s now a talent scout for M G M and 1s always surrounded by the most beautlful gxrls Ln Hollywood Gene Brookens took over h1s father s pony ranch He teaches all hxs ch1ldren to be trlck r1ders H15 w1fe IS a crty g1rl who 15 stlll dellghted w1th the western l1fe John Morgan became a successful sheepherder 1n the badlands He went to college and got a B S degree but he was lonesome for h1s home lzfe so he came back The rumor lS that he's go1ng to marry a redhead ln the sprlng Russell Tw1ss IS a famous bareback r1der Ln the rodeos He seems very happy wlth h1s rodeo performmg w1fe who he met 1n Texas The latest IS that Russ 1s goxng to retlre and have h1s own T V program Charles Tw1ss started out bemg a rancher and a resolved bachelor, but when he was twenty years old he took a vacat1on to Flor1da and there met and marrled a model She d1dn't l1ke ranch hfe so Charles went to school and IS now a succ essful lawyer 1n Florlda We all declded that these last ten years have been pretty successful for all of us and decxded to have another reumon Ln ten years to see how we kept up wlth our success . They are, Shlrley Schrader, Barry Barber, Audrey Amlotte, Norman Amlotte, Jerry Hllton, and Loretta Cuny. The number was raxsed to seven by the re turn of Chuck O'Rourke the Znd slx weeks from H1ghmore. The1r class offlcers are Presldent, Jerry I-hlton, Vlce Presxdent, Barry Barber, and Secretary Treasurer, Shrrley Schrader. Barry, Chuck, and Jerry are 1n basketball, Barry and Chuck are lettermen. Loretta Cuny and Barry Barber were the candldates for our carmval Queen and K1ng. Sh1rley Schrader was Queen her freshman year. Shlrley was the only Jumor to enter the Publlc Speaklng Contest thls fall. Loretta was elected cheerleader, but qu1t shortly after. Audrey graduated from Lone Tree school, Loretta 18 from Rock Sprmgs School. Sh1rley 18 from Wanblee Pubhc School, Chuck and Jerry graduated from Interxor grades. Norman and Barry transferred from Kadoka for the1r sophomore year. 11 . The freshman class began the year with 9 students which included Gertie Twiss Kay O'Rourke Carol Moran Rose Marie Mesteth 'Paul Livermont Dick Kruse, Jean Case, Rene Berdine and Bonnie Berdine The leaving of Rene 8: Bonnie Berdine dropped the class down to 7 students. Paul Livermont and Dick Kruse are both on the basketball team. Kay O Rourke is an A team cheerleader.
