3onewond The treasures found in school are an invaluable aid in making a student a good citizen in his community, Not only knowledge may be gained, but other important things which make a good citizen as well— self-confidence, poise, respect for others, budgeting, and a sense of values. The student of Interboro High School has a wealth of treasures from which he may benefit. In attempting to develop boys and girls into conscientious members of the community, the school plays an important role. Without the opportunity offered by the school, the student could not find his own hidden talents and treasures. He finds there a means of self-expression essential in all-around development which ultimately leads to a useful life in the community. However, upon graduation from Interboro, a student has just begun to discover the treasures which encompass him. Equipped with the necessary tools, he can proceed to find those hidden treasures surrounding him in his community. The secret of true satisfaction is living life to its fullest and taking advantage of every opportunity offered. Education with its numerous treasures equips the student to
MR. STOREY MRS. RENNARD Dedication To its advisers, the Class of 1957 owes a debt of gratitude which cannot be repaid in any terms. All too often the job of class sponsor goes unrewarded and thankless—just another duty as a teacher. The Class of '57 always had two adults to whom it could turn for expert guidance. One would always find Mr. Storey and Mrs. Rennard right among us sharing our heartaches and joys. As the first Junior Class of Interboro High School, we had the task of setting the standards for coming junior classes. Realizing the responsibilities, Mr. Storey and Mrs. Rennard made sure our class performed all its duties. Our parties will never be forgotten, and memories of the Junior Prom are something to cherish. All obligations were met, and we waited starry- eyed at the prospect of becoming seniors. As seniors, under the guidance of Mr. Storey and Mrs. Rennard, decisions were made to our advantage. Our sponsors' previous experience proved an invaluable aid in making wise choices. The success of the Senior Class can be attributed mostly to these two people— Mr. Storey and Mrs. Rennard. To you Mr. Storey and Mrs. Rennard, we dedicate this yearbook as a token of our esteem and honor. May you accept this as our way of saying, Thank you for a job well done. 10
