Winning in the tirst round of the Catholic League tournament, the varsity then met defeat in the second round at the hands of Catholic High. ln the final playoff, I.N.ll. came throught with the trophy. Pat Fogarty, Carolyn Slaysman, Rose Rogers, Dolores Hall and their escorts dance to the soft strains of Dick Depkin's orches- tra. Harry Hessenauer, Tommy Tillette, Gerry Rutkowski, Rose Venere and Don Corbet talk during intermission. Event of the Year Class officers and members of the dance committee had worked for weeks ahead in the club base- ment at Marcy Lynclfs home, making the decorations. Seniors agreed that the affair was an out- standing evening in the year's series of important events. With a background of snowmen and snow- flakes, Levering Hall became a winter wonderland.
