Acting as hostesses, juniors gaily dressed their little sisters as natives of early America. Assembled before the tribal council, the freshmen received instructions on how to be a big chief or a good squaw. Tom-toms echoed and war cries resounded as frosh pa- pooses were welcomed into the tribe of INDians. Lower left: frosh, decorated with war paint seem to enjoy the entertainment. Center: juniors con- coct ways to torment the frosh, who sit around on benches waiting to be initiated. 'Xxx On the sidelines, juniors line up cokes and cookies.
