With one purpose in view, to make money for the Crusade and school newspaper, Windows, the affair was judged an overwhelming success. The whole student- body from first graders to high school seniors attended. The school yard was just lilled with girls when over 800 of them arrived for the big sale. New, Epzb-making Event dents tossed pennies and threw rings for prizes. Clowns sold their wares, bags of pretzels and potato chips, and balloon pedd- lers were much in demand. The usual lolly- pops, ice cream and cakes helped till in the menu. For the religious-minded there were roszxries and other articles of devotion. When the hell rung for the end of the carnival, there wus at general groan that so enjoyable an event could he over so soon. Students, however, returned to their classes, consoled with the thought that perhaps there would be another one next year.
