Christmas Program A Chrrstmas program was gwen at the schoolhouse on V' ednesday evemng De cember Z0 1950 A Chrlstmas pageant Once Upon A Chr1st'mas Tune was pre sented by the grades from the first to the sxxth grades It was produced and dxrected by Mxss Keyes Mrs Brxght and Mrs Gray Followmg the pageant the m1xed chorus sang Deck the Hall Joy to the World and S11entN1ght Gesu Bambino Jmgle Bells were sung by the gurls chorus After the entertainment Santa Claus arrived to vxslt wxth and glve treats to all the chxldren After a short vlsxt he bxd all a Merry Chrxstmas a Happy New Year and departed Christmas Party and Dance The lugh school students celebrated Chrxstmas at a Chrxstmas Party on Friday afternoon December ZZ 1950 They were vxslted by Santa Claus lnnogene Davxs who passed out the presents Santa also read some letters that had been recewed and an swered them xn person ln the evenmg a Chrxstmas dance was gwen sponsored by Mr and Mrs Ira Watson and Mrs Gray Entertainment was provlded by the Sophomores Mrs Jim Coventry and Mary Hartlgan The Juniors served refreshments of cheese and meat sandw1ches potato chxps pickles and pop Everyone had a good tlme dancmg vnaltzes two steps schottxsches and square dances It was a wonderful Chrxstmas o 1 , ' - an - - in 1 1 ' .
