Chorus Music IS under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gray. It is divided into tvao sections Girls Glee Club and Boys' Glee Club. Gypsy Rover The Mxxed Chorus presented the operetta Gypsy Rover This operetta is lh three acts and IS bullt around the character of Rob later known as Str G1lbert Howe of Engllsh Nobxluty Rob ns stolen when an mfant by hls nurse Meg who later becomes the w1.fe of Marto a gypsy Rob grows to manhood amongst the gypsles believing Meg and Marto to be his parents It happens one day wlule riding with her fxancee Lord Craven Lady Constance Martendale becomes lost m the woods They wander to the gypsy camp where Constance and Rob meet and fall m love at first sxght Craven objects to Rob s attntude but ln a very funny comedy scene wxth Marto and Slnfo he xs made to tell S1r George who later comes m search of Constance that Rob ns a charmmg fellow ln act two Rob goes to the home of Constance and serenades her They plan to elope but are overheard by Craven who xnforms S1r George and plans are made to capture Rob Thls ms successfully accomplished and Rob IS thrown mto prison but later escapes Two years elapse and Rob has come mto h1s estates h1s xdentlty having been proven Meg He becomes a successful composer a frxend of the Prmce and a social hon Constance his wife As Rob says The good falnes have led me to the beautxful country after all and our story Constance, can end m the proper way They lwed happily ever after J STANDING El Watson l Davxs R Krueger E Davxs W Stamp KNEELING G Hartlgan H Nielsen I .
