Sophomores The Sophomore Class cons1sts of fwe gxrls and two boys as follows Evelyn Davxs 'vlurna Scholz Naomz Ross Eva Anne Cunmngham Carolyn Watson Ronald Coventry and Larry Davxd They met the flrst week 1n September to elect a class sponsor and offxcers They are Presxdent Carolyn Watson V1ce Preszdent Naorrn Ross Secretary and Treasurer Evelyn Davts Student Councxl Representatlve Ronald Coventry Sponsor Mr Bright The Sophomores had charge of the entertamrnent for the Christmas dance December ZZ Both boys m our class are partlclpatmg 1n athletxcs and all members except Larry David are 1n Mxxed Chorus Evelyn Davls and Carolyn Watson are cheerleaders ln Pep Club thls year Freshmen On September 5 1950 fwe Freshmen entered Inman Hngh School The followmg off1ce rs were elected President Secretary Student Councxl Representatwe Yvonne Smlth Yvonne Smmth Sponsor Mr Br1ght Ramon Sprague who IS the only Freshman boy out for athletxcs made the fzrst ten the basketball team Four of the class are members of Muced Chorus The Freshmen were mxtxated mto hxgh school by the Student Council on September 1950 They had to perform before the student body Yvonne Smxth dressed as a football player had to show how to pass a football and ex plam the rules Jeane Scholz representmg a cowboy had to rope an xmagmary steer and throw hmm Neva Walton mmtatmg a fisherman had to stand blmdfolded on a plank lnfted In the a1r and try to get her lme and hook tn a bucket of water Neva and Jeane then had to bob for apples m a tub of soap suds Bobby Davxs as a dancer performed a ballerma dance Ramon Sprague dressed as a housewLfe came m wheeling a baby carriage wxth a doll mn xt whnch he rocked and sang to sleep That exemng the Freshmen were honored at a dance Rxchard Bohn gave a speech wel commg them mto hugh school Ice cream and cake was served by the Seniors.
