With improved music groups, we were able to do more in, and perhaps achieve better music, resulting in better performances. The groups this year have worked hard and have seen some good results. The vocal music groups have been very active in performing, both here at school and also in the community. The choir, glee clubs, and ensembles have presented four concerts locally, and participated in MKL and State music festivals. An open house was the first thing we did Parents came to school and took the place of their kid STUCO was there to sponsor it all We gave parents directions, stationed out in the hall. For Halloween we showed a film that was scary Here Dody announced he wanted to marry Kids who were scared sat there and screamed Dates who were bored sat there and dreamed The juke box and pop machine were quite hard to keep Cuz teachers kept yelling when Chuck Barry made a peep But STUCO stepped in and did what they could So both machines stay as we knew they should. 74 B-team tourney and May Day were sponsored by STUCO Assemblies too, with a music group from JUCO Student exchange brought interest that soared And a plea for a lounge went to the board. The best thing we did, led by our own Super Dod' Was to go to the board to drop the dress code The board was accomodating and saw it our way Now kids come to school and can enjoy the day. The kids knew the limit and stayed within reason This way they enjoyed the great blue jean season This year was not the year of the dress But in great fashion - the year ends a STUCO success.
