J . 26699 Each year it is customary at Inkster High School to elect, fiom the Senior Class, a Queen who presides at the homecoming activiiies. This year the team decided that this honor should go to Miss Geraldine Johnson.

We, the faculty and student body of Inkster High, feel that we have one of the best coaching staffs in the state viz: Mr. Khamalaw White-Athletic Director, Track and Freshman Basketball Coach. Mr. Charles Adams-Cross Country and Baseball Coach, Mr. Richard B'ewis-Assistant Baseball Coach, Mr. Robert Harris-Football and Basketball Coach, Mr. Jerry B. Williams--Assistant Football and Reserve Basketball Coach. We wish to thank the forrmer athletes who helped in making the names of The Inkster Vikings well respected throughout the State of Michigan. The aims of the Athletic Department are to: help young people of the high school develop good sound healthy bodies through game participation, help develop those qualities of good-sportsmanship which are of value in life, assist the individual in storing up that physical reserve which is so important to him in the event that he is attacked by fatal germs or diseases.
