at , I Q iw Turkey Day: The Day of the Ram The Rams played a dream football game to turn the Metro league's high school championship playoff into a night- mare for the Garheld Bulldogls on Memo- rial Stadiumls Magic Carpet. It was a day perfectly tailored for disas- ter A dark and dreary, wet and wintry. And disaster is what it was, 44-13. The raging Rams ate up the Bulldogs for Thanksgiving with a performance that approached perfection. The triumph was no. 9 in succession this season and the llth since their most recent defeat. The Rams romped and stomped for an incredible 581 yards setting a Turkey Day scoring record. One of many for the day and season. This was Ingraham's Hrst title contest since the opening ofthe school in 1959. And an overwhelming success it was.

Ram 's Record INGRAHAM LEADS NORTH INGRAHAM I2-SEALTHO A nine yard run and a pass interception accounted for the total points in Ingraham's quarter of the Jamboree, giving the North a 19-7 advantage, The final score was North 39 - South 20. RAMS ROUTQUEENANNE INGRAHAM 40- QUEEN ANNEO Causing repeated fumbles, the Grinch ran Queen Anne into the ground and gave many breaks to the Blitz. STOLEN PASS SA VES RAMS INGRAHAM 6 - SHORECREST 0 The game was all Grinch as Ingraham picked oif a Shorecrest pass and ran for the only TD of the game. RA MS ROAR PAST BALLARD INGRAHAM 28 - BALLARD 0 Unorganized Ballard could not keep up with the Blitz or Grinch. They were held to a minus seven yards rush- ing through periods of sunshine and showers. RAMS CAMPAIGN CONTINUES INGRAHAM 35- LINCOLN 0 The offense moved well but Lincoln threw a scare into the defense as the Lynx missed a first down on the Ingra- ham four by inches. FO UR YEAR JINX IS BROKEN INGRAHAM39- ROOSEVELTO The Rams, posting their Hfth regular season shutout proved a long known fact: INGRAHAM BELONGS ON TOP. The Grinch intercepted a Roughrider pass in the end zone, halting the Ted's only scoring threat. RAMS RUN RAMPANT INGRAHAM 55- CLEVELAND 0 The Rams tied a twenty-eight record for consecutive shutouts by beating Cleveland 55-0. RAMS SETSHUTO UTRECORD INGRAHAM I3 - SHORELINEO Downing Shoreline gave Ingraham a record which had been held by Roosevelt sinoe 1939. The Rams chalked up seven consecutive shutouts. NORTH DIVISION CHAMPS INGRAHAM20 - HALE14 The Rams overcame the last obstacle on their way to Turkey Day. Although ending their shutout string, In- graham came through in a hard-fought battle viewed by a record-breaking crowd.
