Ingraham's Mathematics Department provides a wide variety of courses to stimulate the mathematically oriented mind. At the basic level are Geometry and Algebra courses in Algebra III, Trigonometry, and Advanced Math. For students interested in a more intensive study, Math Analysis and Calculus are offered at the Senior level. Mathematical knowledge is essential to excel in certain scientific tields. While Biology and Advanced Biology courses require little mathematical knowledge, Physics and Chemistry courses depend heavily on mathematics to function successfully. As well as the facts, figures, and formulas of the Chem Study program, Mr. McCain's stu- dents will long remember his sad, bad, and poor or the Berkenhead Drill . Mr. McMurtrey new to Ingraham in September, is the head of the Physics Department. In the large Biology Department, a form of LAG was initiated into the program. Studies of the peoples of the world and their problems through the ages are provided by the Social Studies Department. World History, U.S. History, Contemporary Problems, Economics, and Far East are some of the courses offered to Ingraham students. By learning about his government, its operations, policies, and ideals, the student can be an informed and active citizen. All for me?
