Builders ofthe past Teachers of the present Graduating Seniors this year are now complet- ing their third year of the LAG PROGRAM first incorporated into the Language Arts courses three years ago. Due to the success of this experi- mental new program, the LAG system of learning has spread to other fields in Mathematics, Physi- cal Eucation, Spanish, and Biology. English Lit- erature, American Literature, and World Litera- ture have been studied in the three consecutive years in the Poetry, Drama, Novel, and Short Story phases. The LAG program of learning is designed to emphasize the individual's abilities and efforts to excel and master certain areas of study at his own speed. Helpful in the study of World Literature is a background ofvarious foreign languages and knowledge of their relative countries. Students can obtain this knowledge in our Foreign Lan- guage Department. French, Spanish, Latin, Japa- nese, and German courses are offered at all levels from basic skills to more advanced curriculum. The LAG system has been incorporated into the Spanish classes for the second year. Ingraham can also boast the president of the Washington State Latin Club as an Ingraham student, Bruce Pantley. Training for entrance into the business world is given inthe extensive program offered by the Business Education department. Typing, Eco- nomics, Office Practice, Oliice Machines, Short- hand, and Retailing are a few of the classes of- fered to the student in order to train for proficien- cy in the Business world.
