W :fr tx I i -xx x L ., f , ,, 'xx li ff' l J' 1 f l gf jiVritten with prolonged contemplation hard work and genu- s , ,fine sincerity, we tried to present the best possible Glacier to you to symbolize the cherished memories ol' this past year. We sincerely hope that you will like and be proud of your Glacier. This book was not only written as a record of highlights of events, a record of students, and a resume of school organiza- tions, but also as a book with a message for all students at the present time and in the future. Our theme of Bridges was incorporated into many concepts throughout the text . . . to symbolize the abyss of hatred and war, to symbolize friend- ship and parting, to symbolize a bridge with the present and a link to the future. Since high school is the major stepping- stone to adulthood, it is a message that should be read and contemplated by all students. None of this would have been possible without the help of many people. We give special thanks to the staff, Bruce Skelly for his many wonderful pictures, Mr. Bruce Clute, Jim Palm of American Yearbook for his help and interest, and Boldman Studios for their artistic and efficient photography and pa- tience. Our warmest appreciation of all goes to Mrs. Sawyer whose concern, guidance, patience and genuine friendship can never be repaid, Thank you. The Editors qt, ,, My if.. -if - A, . . WMP, X
