TRACK Track for any school has to have a very dedicat- ed crew of young men who begin training for their sport early in the year. Every night after school they can be seen working hard on the practice field. The opening win, 97 to 29 over Ballard, indicat- ed possibilities of a metro championship for Ingra- ham. These boys work hard and long hours for their rewards and frequently receive little recognition from the student body. Anyone involved, however, realizes the sweat and toil put into the sport, per- haps the oldest sport on earth, the sport of compe- tition between individuals, where work pays off in a win and satisfaction in victory.
