Through participation in student gov- ernment and student activities, individuals receive opportunities for leadership, learning and fun. The A.S.I. Committees execute the duties delegated to them by the Constitution and Executive Board to pro- vide opportunities for participation. This year a new system of assigning committee membership to councils was tried in an effort to actively include more students. Serving as a committee chairman is not an easy task, yet the rewards of friendship, fun and accomplishment far outweigh the disappointments. Marge McLeod Carol Ramstad President Vice President GIRLS' ACTIVITIES Sailing, sailing over the ocean blue .... were the lngraham girls as they followed the cabinet's plans throughout the school year, The Girls' Activities theme, AI1Ch0I'S A- weigh , was launched with the Big Sister Tea on September 10. The annual Father-Daughter Banquet took place in the imaginary port of Zanzibar. Safari slides were featured to treat the fathers at the Captains Table . Yuletide activities, including pictures with Santa, provided holi- day merriment for all the students. When spring arrived daughters delighted their mothers by presenting a charming tea and fashion show. This mother-daughter event climaxed the Girls' Activities year.
