'Catch me I'm fallingl' l l N .' . t l Ingraham Thinclads, spurred on by past victories, sought the city championship again this year. Through individual ef- forts and team spirit, Ingraham performed well in the meets. The beginning of the season Was very difficult, however. Rain and wind made running miserable if not nearly impos- sible. Undaunted, Ingraham overwhelmed a young Shore- crest team, but was defeated by Shoreline. The Rams rallied and downed the Lynx. The Re- lay Carnival at the University, saw Ingraham come from be- hind to place second over-all. Hopes were still high and directed to city victory at mid- season. Both team and eager spectators worked together to support Ingraham in varsity track competition. Darwin Chevalier H urd ler Phil Conner Quarter-Mile
