Throughout the year, Ingraham's Honor Society was in the process of creating a new regime. It was hoped to unify the group and give it deserved school recognition. Fall activities included an as- sembly to acquaint the members with this intentg an opportunity for members to guide the ac- creditors as well as the participants in the Science Conference held here. l Rosemary Craig Miss Metzger Secretary Advisor Ingraham's Honor Society- the hungry intellectuals Two new ideas were presented - a car wash to raise scholarship money for a deserving student and a new flavored banquet. The theme appropri- ately being Way Out. Key Club, a service club for boys, was sponsored by Northgate Kiwanis. Their money-making projects included a rummage sale and the annual Pan- cake Breakfast. The highlight of the year was their participation in a district convention at Spokane. Clubs furnish extra-curricular diversion The purpose of the Political Science Club was to acquaint the members with current world affairs. To promote this purpose, they participated in Model Umted Nations atE11eHSbufg and Vlctorlaf B' C' The Essence, Ingraham's literary magazine, was published to give recognition to the literary accomplishments of gifted students. Scientific-minded Stlldl-gl':.tS attended JETS to learn to practically apply their knowledge. Their purpose was fulfilled through films, field trips, and lectures suggested by the Na- tional Association to which they are afliliated. 30
