,QP .J mf-Y il NT 'l' - Kobe choir makes headlines in Seattle papers. The three days Ingraham borrowed the Kobe Choir will long be remembered. When the Kobe Choir first arrived, after a delay of three hours, they were greeted with a traditional Ingraharn welcome. It is one they will long remember. After each Kobe student had met his host, they left for their very first night in the United States. Soon the Japanese students became accustomed to the strange surroundings. The next three days were filled with sight- seeing trips and concerts. Ingraharrfs Choir gave a banquet in their honor after the students had spent a day at school visiting classes. In the exchange of customs, Ingraham students discovered that the Japanese not only knew how to twist but knew how to Charleston. The Choir was presented with mountaineer hats and made Honorary Mem- bers of the Ingraham Student Body. Yes, these moments will long be remembered but even now there are students planning a trip back to Japan to visit their fellow Ingraham Students.
