Our most satisfying experiences were the gunfire support missions. We felt like we be- longed here and enjoyed the opportunity for action. In our many gunfire support missions, we received the highest of praise from our spotters as Viet Cong infiltration points, supply dumps, assembly areas and observation posts ceased to exist.
