as Upon leaving Japan, we went directly to the combat zone for the first time. We were to Spend two more tours here, where we would lifeguard and planeguard for the Ticonderoga and Hancock, engage in Naval Gunfire Support in various corps areas, and conduct special operations of surveillance.
