TRIBUTE YEARBOOK TO: Loyally and devotion to your school is a phrase usually associated with students, yet these are the very qualities which make Mr. Louis Below so deserving of our recogni- tion. As a print shop instructor. Mr. Below s only real duty” at I.H.S. is to teach. Not content to do an exceptional job of that, however, he also puts in untold hours of his own time working on printing St Catlinda and other school publica- tions. A member of I.H.S. faculty for seven years. Mr. Below graduated from Stout Institute in Wisconsin, and earned his M.A. from L.A. State College. TIME TO PAY WE DEDICATE OUR MRS. JANIS GUENTHER It is rare indeed for a teacher who has spent but four short years in a school to receive the honor of an Annual's dedication. The rarity in this case is Mrs. Janis Guenther who. by her involvement with the students of I.H.S from the first day she arrived on campus, has truly earned this dis- tinction. A credit to her profession. Mrs. Guenther's will- ingness to help her students extends beyond the classroom hours. She has the ability to communicate with the stu- dents on their own level, but without losing any respect due her as a teacher. Educated in both the United States and Germany. Mrs. Guenther received her B.A. from the University of Munich. Besides teaching German and world history, her extra curricular” activities include Senior Class Adviserand German Club Adviser.
