LEADERSHIP Our administrators and instructors, loyal and inspir- ing men and women, encourage student government. SCHOLARSHIP Seniors -commence life unafraid. Juniors — prepare for things ahead. Sophomores eager to learn. Freshmen ambitious youth. FELLOWSHIP Large and small clubs merge linguists, scholars, act- ors, musicians, scientists, and sportsmen into a unity — Inglewood High. SPORTSMANSHIP Win or lose — our Sentinels fight with dignity of bearing. FRIENDSHIP Sentinels spend many never-to-be-forgotten hours to- gether at work and play through activities.

Mr. George C. Barnum will long be remembered by the Seniors of '•18 as their sincere friend and adviser through four years of high school life. No class activity or committee was complete without his kindly advice and enthusiastic help. Proms, assemblies and the class play were successfully planned and executed with his eager assistance and interest. The crowing social event of the Senior calendar was the never-to-be- forgotten Christmas prom. The theme ' Sleigh Bells” was a gay motif for decorations which transformed the study hall into a fairyland. Great fun was had by the committee in charge of decorations, as they worked with Mr. Barnum in the Woodshop designing, building, and painting the Christmas village, and Santa with his package-filled sleigh drawn by reindeer. Expert craftsmanship created these lovely decorations, for Mr. Barnum spent many hours in their construction. No task has been too difficult or tedious for him as he worked for his Seniors. Because the members of the class cannot adequately express their affection and esteem for him, they have chosen to honor Mr. Barnum in the yearbook. It is with great pleasure that the annual staff dedicates the 19-18 edition of the Green and White to Mr. George C. Barnum.
