i J-otiuvTytdj I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands — one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. The pledge that Young America makes to the flag goes beyond the fluttering banner to that which it symbolizes — the vast nation which is today more than ever the best place in the world to live. And on the high school campuses of the United States there is a growing realization of the re- sponsibilities that go with the privilege of being Americans. For the theme of our 1941 yearbook, which is a pageant of the school year, we have chosen the actors themselves — oung America — the girls and boys who made the year what it was on Inglewood ' s campus. We hope that as you turn the pages of your Green and White you will remem- ber the accomplishments and the satisfactions, the friend- ships and the fun. of this chapter of your high school life.
