6lmwPwff4wf nThaHk YOU and I'll be ready at 1600 on Thursdayn, said Lady Donna Fairchild fformerly Donna Sunklerb as she turned off the visa phone in their summer home. She immediately began to pack a few essentials need- ed on her expected thrilling trip to Outer Space aboard Explorer VI Captain BILL BURNETT piloted Lady Fairchild on the Airline Helicop- ter to L. A. International Airport where they were met by news photog- rapher KENNY BRANN who was assembling news for the Examiner. As they approached the Information Booth who should they meet but Receptionist CAROL MARKER who had the tickets ready aboard the Jet Airliner. GLEN GEORGE'S voice sounded over the P. A. system, HAll Aboardn. As she hastened forward to the Departure Gate, and ran up the steps of the Jet Airl1ner,.whom should she meet but CHERYL ANTONAROS, Stewardess of the Airline. They were delighted to see each other and Cheryl quickly briefed her passenger of the personnel of the ship. Who should they be but ROBERT MILLER, Pilot, and GENE HIGGINS, Co-Pilot, and Radio-Radar Officer, BOB FOX. Three hours later they disembarked at Cape Canaveral, Florida where Captain LOUISE LaVOQUE escorted Lady Fairchild to Strato-Flight Head- quarters manned by Lt. Commander MIKE ANDREWS. Explorer V was piloted by Com ander JACK KUNSON l.- and Radio Engineer CHUCK MCCOMB. Navigator JERRY McLOUD happily greeted Lady Fairchild as she boarded Explorer V and prepared for take-off. The Electronic screen immediately went into action showing people and places on Earth. The Queen Mary was seen off-shore of England and Private Detective BENT CHRISTIANSEN of Kimberley Diamond Enterprises trailing a suspect. Paris flashed upon the screen with ANNA WEST dis- playing some of the latest Paris creations. At a Swiss Villa we see ANDY GREENAWALT, World Traveler, and his wife, the former JUDY WALLIS. A view of Rome's Unified High School showed English Department Head MARTHA JEANNE STEVENS hard at work. The Holy Land Came intO View and the former teacher sat entranced before the screen as She Saw VICTOR

I, Sharon Redburn, bequeath my charming smile to Niel Wallace. I, Martha Jeanne Stevens, do hereby leave my love for the 3Ch00l to Marilyn Jensen. I, I. Jerry McCloud, pass on my ability to speak softly to Alan Sproles. Richard Jensen, present my little tricky basketball techniques and my position as Student Body President, with all its headaches, to Stephen Roth. I. I, Ronnie Sharon Haden, will my braces and my healthy tonsils to Sharon Marks DeLao, with everyone's consent, give my one dead snake and my Hlookn of innocence to Dickie Theetge. Iv Chuck McComb, pass on my sly little way of writing notes to Stewart Undem. I. I. I, Bruce Marks, would like Roger Squires to inherit my height. Nancy Brones, will my student council notes to Kathleen Peebles. Gene Higgins, reluctantly pass on my little black book of telephone numbers to Dan Ruley. I, Glen George, leave my cute smile and my love for history to Robert Newell. I, Cheryl Moore, feel extremely generous and leave all my Girl Scout badges to Judy Allen. I, Sherry Hoffman, with no regret whatsoever, will my Math book to Dianne Creek. I, Marybeth Lane present my unlimited knowledge to Jerri Lee Ayrest. Billy Burnett, give of my own free will, my interest in school work to Donald Crow. I. I, Bill Harris, will my big feet and dirty socks to John Wilson. I, Linda Lou Larson, leave my love for singing to John Schweitzer. We leave our dear teachers our carved desk tops, marked-up books, and our many toys which are already in their possession. We also leave them a bit greyer, more weary, and with a desire for a long well- earned rest from it all.

DEMICK and PAUL CURRIE, taking Post-Graduate work at Israeli University before entering the ministry. Saudi Arabia claimed the talents of CHARLES PUTNAM, Electrical Engineer in the Oil Fields. Mission Hospital at Baghdad showed Pediatrician SHARON HADEN with Nurse NANCY BRONES serving on this foreign field. Hong Kong swung into view where BRUCE MARKS, Importer-Exporter of Chinese Silks, was seen as a distinguished businessman. Australia had claimed the services of Ford Agency Owner, DANNY GRIMSLEY, who is very active in Christian Business Men's Committee International. As Explorer V circled above the Islands of the Sea, the University of Hawaii was seen where MARYBETH LANE was noted as Dean of Women, and RICHARD JENSEN was known as Professor of Physics. On the Island of Oahu, SHARON REDBURDI, wife of a Lt. j. g. was living in a U. S. Naval Housing Unit. Approaching the Western Coast of the United States, NANCY VANDERVEER was seen as Teacher at San Jose Bible School. LINDA BARNES was seen in the Sacramento Valley as a Veternarian. DAN WALLEN was a mechanic in bustling San Francisco and RONNIE DE LAO was working as Detective out of San Quentin Parole Board. BILL HARRIS was seen in the Valley Fruit Exchange. The electronic screen picked up a newly designed type of fighter jet and noted it was being piloted by BOB RENTSCH from Travis Air Force Base. ROCCETTE MEILE was seen in a Children's Dentist Office with her little ones being expertly handled by LINDA LARSON. Los Angeles Health Clinic had captured the interests and services of Ex-Ray Technician, CHERYL MOORE. SHERRY HOFFMAN was seen as Surgical Nurse for the promi- nent heart surgeon of Los Angeles and MARSHA MILLION his Receptionist. As Explorer V neared Earth and prepared for landing, Lady Fairchild could not help reflecting for a few minutes ---- just think! Only a few short years ago she had wondered at the value of such Space Travel and now she was to see and enjoy the benefits therefrom. She was proud to havg had g part in the life preparation of these famous people.
