With Mrs. Wright as our teacher, the class increased with the addition of Linda Barnes, Richard Jensen, Marsha Million and Martha Jeanne Stevens. ' Entering Second Grade with Miss Diller as instructor, our class had grown so large with the addition of Billy Harris, Linda Lou Larson, Roccette Miele, Charles Putnam, and Dan Wallen that we were divided and twelve were sent to Mrs. Feldkamp's room. Mrs. Lindsey inherited us in the Third Grade and we had no new students to greet her. As we entered the Fourth Grade Mrs. Hollingsworth made us welcome along with Ronnie De Lao and Nancy Vanderveer. Entering Fifth Grade me met Miss Metcalf, and with the addition of Billy Burnett, Sherry Hoffman, Andrew Greenawalt, Bruce Marks, Chuck McComb, and Sharon Redburn, she led us through the pitfalls of learning. On the threshold of higher learning, we entered Sixth Grade with Mrs. Mahler to welcome us along with our new friends, Glen George, Dan Grimsley, Marybeth Lane, Robert Miller, and Anna West. At last! Junior High! With those words we embarked upon a new phase of our education and plunged into the Seventh Grade. It was much harder, but with Mrs. Corey leading the way the first semester and Mrs. Mahler the second semester, and spurred on by Mrs. McClendon, Mr. Filatreau and Miss Sunkler, we gained the top. We were accompanied on this trip by Cheryl Antonaros, Kenneth Erann, Pent Christiansen, Robert Fox and Jack Munson. Eighth Grade--Oh, Boy! We made it, didn't we? We had four new students --Gene Higgins, Cheryl Moore, Bob Rentsch and Judy Wallis. Miss Sunkler as home-room teacher helped us get a good start, and with the knowledge and Hknownhown of Mr. and Mrs. McClendon, Mrs. Mahler, and Mr. Miles, we achieved the goal on which we had set our sights some years before. Eighth Grade class officers were Victor Demick as President, Charles Putnam, Vice-President, and Sharon Haden, Secretary. The Student Body officers were Richard Jensen, President, Jack Munson, Vice-President, and Nancy Brones, Secretary. Of the thirty-nine graduates, we had fifteen honor students. We felt justly proud of our class. This class has been active in all things undertaken by the school. It contributed to the building fund to erect the school, purchased the asphalt tile for the first grade room, helped purchase needed black- boards, made contributions for the Church building, tile for the Church floor and Church pews. During the nine years this class has been blessed with excellent l'l1---Q,A.l--- .l.---1,.A-.An
