Who could ever forget Nwildcat Willieu, our eighth grade class play. Such a wild one!!! Remember what a time Uwildcat Willlen Cplayed by Mike Ashburnb had when he had to act like HCousin Susien from Seattle. He even had to dress and talk like her. Even though HGladysH, Wildcat's sister lplayed by Janet Murrayl d1dn't mean to, she sure got Willie into a fix by using him as a model to put the hem straight in her new dress, but in the end she did stick up for him by saying he was a wonderful brother. We'll never forget the surprised looks on the faces of Willie's two buddies fJoe, played by Roy Burlesong and Vernon, played by Mike Cadenheadl when Willie, the 'Woman hater and tough Wildcat Tamer' appeared in a girls dress. Remember how Gladys's two girlfriends CCel1a, played by Annette Kennedyg and Kathie, played by Patsy Lieber! teased poor Willie by calling him nEeaut1fulH and nwilhelminan, and oh, how provoked they were when Willie was found playing with Kathie's knitting and wearing her hat. Poor abused Willie!!! Just to think that Willie would help with the housework to get a promised pair of boxing gloves! My, how involved he got just because he was willing to be helpfull!!! The nMelodettesn and HGirls Glee Clubn added good music to the program and we were honored with the presence of uThe Thompson Sistersu---remember their rendition of HPlaymatesH. All in all, it was an evening of wonderful fun and entertainment. An evening we will never forget. my S 315 if wr WA. w Hwild t Willien was presented by the eighth grade class on April 5th at the Mgiroe Junior High School auditorium and was directed and produced by Miss Donna Sunkler.
