AMERICAN FIELD Ernesto Cx-emades One of the most enthusiastic Foreign exchange workers at festival-Mr. student Schwein. I Mr. Trent's photography booth attracted a happy crowd. It was family night-come early, stay late. .and spend! 'Sa ki i yx 'fi 6 viii lin l., The face-painters reaped a full har- vest in their money-making project. 'r . jolly Charles Sdnson moved those cakes like magic, a la cake walk. Each year the Student Council sponsors an AFS Festival-the pur- pose to raise money for a foreign student to attend AHS. Now to be added to the names of Gerd Fricke Germanyg jostein By, Norway and Samarn Chumrugsar, Thailand, is that of Ernesto Cremades, Argen- tina. The festival is an all-school project with all organizations Working toward its success. Next year a student from a far away country will once more be with us. SERVICE FESTIVAL 7

Other senior members of the organi- zation are: Barbara Braun, Pam Cooper, Judy Watson, Nancy Gerardy, Carol Gerard, Bonnie Schmidt, Janet Wilson, Activities within the club begin the very first day of school for even before, as members assist with enrollmentj and last until the very end of the school year. Willingly they serve. 'A One of the most pleasant moments of the tea is when each girl serves her mother punch and cookies. The annual event is held in the parlors of the First Presbyterian church.
